This policy explains how ShubhSoft Solution ("we", "us") handles information in School Library — the website and mobile app used by schools to run their libraries.

Who the service is for

School Library is a tool for school librarians and administrators. A school signs up (or is set up by us), and the school decides what information is entered and who can see it. For that information the school is the data owner, and we process it on the school's behalf to provide the service.

Information we collect

Sign-up and user accounts: school name and city; name, mobile number, email and user name of each user; their role. Passwords are stored only in a securely hashed form.
Library records entered by the school: books and copies (title, author, accession number, price, vendor and bill), library members (name, class, section, roll no., admission / employee no., parent's name, phone, email, address, photo link), books issued and returned, reservations, fines and receipts.
Usage information: when a user signs in, which school they work in, how long they are active each day, and how many entries they make — so administrators can see how the software is used.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, and we show no advertising.

How we use information

To provide the service: sign-in, issuing and returning books, fines, reports and printing.
To manage the school's free trial and subscription, and to contact the person who signed up about it.
To keep the service secure: check permissions, block misuse and investigate problems.
To provide support when the school asks us to.

We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Information is visible only to users the school has given access to, according to their role. We share it only with service providers who host the service for us, or when required by law.

Storage and security

All traffic between the app or browser and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
Passwords are hashed; access is controlled by roles and permissions; repeated wrong passwords lock the account for a while.
Each school's data is kept separate from every other school's.

How long we keep data

We keep a school's data while the school uses the service — including after a free trial ends, so nothing is lost if the school continues. When a school asks us to delete its data, we delete it within 30 days (the school can ask for an export first).

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. Most corrections can be made by your school's administrator. For anything else, email shubhsoftsolutionapps@gmail.com or visit https://shubhsoftsolution.in . We respond within 30 days, as required by India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Children

The software is used by school staff. Student details are entered by the school for running its library, and are handled only as described above.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
